HEY HEY! We're The Monkees!!! RIP Davy Jones

I'll always remember Davy Jones going to the prom with Marsha-Marsha-Marsha Brady...oh, I was so happy for her! He was singing the song, "Girl" was to me, though! I guess the white girl in me was beginning to develop. :)

Watching The Monkees on Saturdays was the best [or was it on Sundays?] They were lovable AND funny. 

One of my favorite songs recorded by The Monkees, "I'm a Believer", 1966, was composed by Neil Diamond and on the Shrek soundtrack [Smashmouth, 2001].

The world is shocked by the loss and share fond memories. Kevin Bacon is saddened along with other friends and fans. Reactions are split by generations.
